Everton’s new stadium plans are being hailed for helping the entire Liverpool city region.

The major development is being proposed at Bramley-Moore Dock and is part of Peel’s £5bn Liverpool Waters scheme to redevelop the city’s former docklands from Princes Dock northwards.

Liverpool Waters is set to take decades. And the northern docks – Nelson and Bramley-Moore – were going to be the last to be developed but now the Blues have told the world about their plans for Bramley-Moore Dock, that development could happen much sooner as other developers look to build nearby to take advantage of the new venue and all the visitors and attention it is bringing.
